You can play In off the Post's soccer management games by either post, i.e. PBM (Play-by-mail), or e-mail, i.e. PBeM (Play by e-mail).
Each turn you will receive the following by first class/airmail post or e-mail:
a news and results booklet (usually sixteen pages), which includes:
| all league tables
| all league results including line-ups, ratings, scorers, bookings and man of the match
| all the latest transfers and loans
| messages from other managers
| all the latest transfer listed players
| cup results and draws
| various statistics including team of the day, best match averages etc.
a pre-printed return envelope (PBM only)
a new turnsheet for the next turn
match report(s) of the match(es) your club has played during the turn, which include:
| detailed match commentary
| game statistics such as shoots on/off, offsides, possession etc.
| full line-ups for both clubs with match ratings and man of the match
| the team plan used by both clubs
an information sheet detailing:
| the squad(s) of your club's forthcoming opponents
| confirmation of the club and member balances and results of previous transfer deals
| any player database changes (i.e. ratings, positions or nationalities)
| a player round-up detailing attitude changes and injury progress
your club's current squadlist
