7¹ The Independiente 'keeper dived to his right to save a lovely shot from West Ham United's COVENTRY. 10¹ A great save prevented BENRAHMA from scoring a great goal. 10¹ A drive from BENEDETTO seemed a certain goal but VICENTE GUAITA managed to palm the ball clear. 14¹ GOAL!! Some useful work by VECCHIO on the left, left BENEDETTO yards clear, and he nutmegged the West Ham United 'keeper and fired the ball home. (1-0 Independiente) 16¹ A lovely effort from CERVI scraped the outside of the righthand post. 19¹ A shot from LANZINI held no problem for the 'keeper. 22¹ CERVI was put clear by VECCHIO and he pulled away from VICENTE GUAITA but rammed his shot just beyond the near post. 23¹ A poor strike from CERVI trickled agonisingly wide. 26¹ BENEDETTO's shot was well saved by the 'keeper. 35¹ A pin-point pass fell to BENEDETTO and his looping shot went narrowly wide. 38¹ GOAL!! A cross from the left was headed down by HUDSON-ODOI for EMERSON PALMIERI to score. (1-1) 42¹ GOAL!! A strike from VECCHIO which the 'keeper managed to palm clear was deemed over the line and the referee awarded the goal.
