3¹ A free-kick from WARD-PROWSE went just beyond the near post. 13¹ An inswinging corner was headed into the arms of the Nottingham Forest 'keeper by DAMSGAARD. 16¹ GOAL!! With his back to goal DAMSGAARD swivelled and stabbed the ball past SCHMEICHEL. (1-0 Southampton) 41¹ A lovely effort from FREULER scraped the woodwork. 42¹ GOAL!! A mix up between BOLY and SCHMEICHEL allowed DAMSGAARD to drill the ball into the empty net. (2-0 Southampton) 0² A penalty box meleé resulted in ORIOL ROMEU knocking a low shot wide. 3² JIMÉNEZ was put clear by ZAHA and he nutmegged JOSÉ SÁ but thrust his shot over. 4² The Southampton 'keeper stopped a clever strike from ZINCHENKO. 6² SCHMEICHEL did well to hold onto a fierce shot from DAMSGAARD. 8² A header by VOLLAND at the far post was easily collected by the 'keeper. 11² ZINCHENKO rasped the ball through a crowd of players but the Southampton 'keeper was a match for it as he dived to his left. 17² GOAL!! A long ball from ORIOL ROMEU had the Nottingham Forest defence back-pedalling and DAMSGAARD made the most of the opportunity with an exceptional goal. (3-0 Southampton) 22² BOLY ran onto a wonderful ball from FREULER but toe-poked his shot wide of the lefthand post. 24² A mix up in the Nottingham Forest defence enabled WEGHORST to crack the ball just beyond the far post. 29² VOLLAND floated the ball to JIMÉNEZ who turned it just wide. 34² GIBBS-WHITE's shot was well saved by the Southampton 'keeper. 35² DAMSGAARD made space on the right and dragged the ball to ADAMS who clipped the ball wide. 41² DAMSGAARD rifled a simple chance past the near post. 44² A useful ball from TOMIYASU on the right found WEGHORST who mishit his effort just wide.
