0¹ LUCAS JOÃO was put clear by KARSDORP and he raced past AKINFEEV but glanced his shot inches over. 0¹ LUCAS JOÃO ran onto a wonderful ball from LOUM N but fired his shot wide of the goal. 4¹ POLITANO clipped the ball through a ruck of players but AKINFEEV was a match for it as he dived to his left. 5¹ GOAL!! An imaginative CUADRADO played a wonderful ball down the middle to FERGUSON who seemingly in an offside position went on to easily score. (1-0 WBA) 9¹ A corner bobbled toward FERGUSON who forced an effort over the bar. 11¹ MURIEL made space on the left and touched the ball to ACUÑA who rasped the ball over. 16¹ ACUÑA blasted a left foot shot over the bar from twenty-five yards out. 21¹ A free-kick from GUERREIRO floated over. 22¹ MURIEL knocked the ball to KOSTIC who flicked it inches over. 29¹ A fine dribble was ended by a good save by the oncoming 'keeper. 34¹ A poor strike from POLITANO trickled agonisingly wide. 36¹ GOAL!! Uncertainty between JOSÉ FONTE and RULLI allowed FERGUSON to drill the ball into the empty net. (2-1 WBA) 18² BERTUG brought the ball round KARSDORP and rattled a weak shot past the post. 20² The Reading 'keeper was able to claw away a tame shot from FERGUSON. 23² A great strike from POLITANO was dealt with by a fine block from the 'keeper. 30² A fine ball from MINGS on the left was collected by KARSDORP who sliced his effort just beyond the far post. 33² A accurate pass fell to BERTUG and his deadly shot floated narrowly over. 42² GOAL!! A delightful dummy from KRUNIC allowed GÜNTER to lay a perfect ball off to MEITÉ who glanced the ball into the back of the net. (2-2)
