9¹ A lovely effort from MARTINELLI scraped the outside of the righthand post. 11¹ RODRYGO's shot beat the Port Vale 'keeper but rebounded off the Port Vale upright. 23¹ A neatly crafted cross from MÜLLER was knocked goalbound by BARCOLA only for the Arsenal 'keeper to palm clear. 28¹ A free-kick from TROSSARD floated wide. 30¹ OPENDA beat four Arsenal players and drove a shot over. 35¹ GOAL!! A cross from FOFANA was nodded away by HINCAPIÉ only for ØDEGAARD to volley the ball back into the box for RODRYGO to force into the net. (1-0 Arsenal) 38¹ MADUEKE headed inches wide. 39¹ RODRYGO ran onto a wonderful ball from MARTINELLI but hit his shot wide of the goal. 7² A wonderful save prevented MADUEKE from scoring an exceptional goal. 7² A twenty-five yard shot from TROSSARD caused the Arsenal 'keeper no problem. 11² ØDEGAARD stormed through the Port Vale defence but shot straight at the Port Vale 'keeper. 15² GOAL!! (2-2) 29² OPENDA stepped inside KILMAN but lashed the ball into the arms of the 'keeper. 34² MARTINELLI was put clear by MADUEKE and he pulled away from MAMARDASHVILI but thrust his shot inches wide. 37² MARTINELLI rattled a simple chance past the near post. 41² TROSSARD shot over. 44² MARTINELLI beat UDOGIE and drilled the ball to RODRYGO who dragged his shot wide.
