5¹ GARNER beat SMITH and hit the ball to TAYLOR who fired his shot wide. 16¹ TAYLOR hoofed the ball wide of the goal from just outside the area. 18¹ A penalty box scramble resulted in GARNER cracking the ball over. 20¹ GOAL!! DOWNES drove a powerful shot against the upright with TAYLOR tapping in the rebound. (1-0 Blackburn Rovers) 25¹ GOAL!! A goalmouth meleé culminated with SAMU striking the ball into the net. (2-0 Blackburn Rovers) 28¹ A useful ball from HOEDT on the left was collected by TAYLOR who scuffed his shot over the bar. 29¹ A neatly crafted cross from DANJUMA was tapped goalbound by BROOKS only for the 'keeper to palm clear. 43¹ COOK made space on the left and touched the ball to DANJUMA who rasped the ball over. 2² A good effort from ÁLEX MORENO scraped the outside of the post. 5² GOAL!! A nice run by DOWNES on the right was capped by a delightful cross which WHITEMAN forced home at the far post. SMITH hit a curling thirty yard shot past the bemused SÁNCHEZ.
